In the tobacco industry, optimization of a packaging machine to permit the more precise cutting of inlays in cigarette cartons at a processing speed of 380 cartons per minute


Problem analysis and consultation took place at a plant in Switzerland for the purpose of optimizing a type of cigarette packaging system. 
Analysis of existing drive technology and design in order to optimize the motion control system. Reworking, software programming, and test setup by HEITEC. 
System implemented and tested in a BAT factory in South Korea. 
The program that was generated is now being used worldwide as a master for the successive optimization of the relevant systems.
